Following is some important points from google email :-
- According to December 2018 google plus ( Personal ) decided to shut down.
- Shut down date will be April 2019.
- April 2nd, your Google+ account and any Google+ pages you created will be shut down
- Deleting content ( Video & Photos ) from consumer Google+ accounts will start by google from 2nd April and take few months so may be you see content for some more time after April 2019
- Note that photos and videos backed up in Google Photos will not be deleted.
- Download your photos and other content from account but before April 2019
- Reaons of shut down is low usage and challenges in maintaining product
- As early as February 4th, you will no longer be able to create new Google+ profiles, pages, communities or events.
