Narendra Damodardas Modi born on September 17, 1950 in Vadnagar, Gujarat, India. His father was a Damodardas Mulchand Modi, he was a street Merchant and mother Heeraben Modi is house wife. Narendra Modi is the third eldest of his six brothers.
As a child, he helped his father sell tea at the Vadnagar railway station and on trains. In youngster, Modi participate a tea stall with his brother near a bus stand in Ahmedabad.. Modi completing his schooling in Vadnagar in 1967. He completed his graduation from Delhi University in political science in 1978, and obtained a Masters degree in political science from Gujarat University in 1983. According to his teachers, he was an average student but had great interest in debates.
During his college day, he joined Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad and acted as a promoter of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
