SAHELION KI BARI
Saheliyon Ki Bari is one of the most beautiful gardens and beautiful tourist spot in Udaipur in Indian state of Rajasthan. Maharana Sangram Singh was built the garden from 1710 to 1734 for the beautiful princess and her maids or servant. Saheliyo ki bari is also called, "Garden of maids". In the old time the queens come with their friends so it is called Saheliyon-Ki-bari.
Sahelion Ki Bari is located on the north side of Fateh Sagar Lake in Udaipur. Sahelion Ki Bari' was establish and designed by the king for a group of forty-eight young women who had come with the queen. He wanted them to have a beautiful place, where they could relax and enjoying with nature.
Key Points:-
1. The garden is well-maintained with green trees, magnificent lotus pools, elephant shaped fountains, herbs, and lawns.
2. The Garden have five beautiful fountains which are:- Swagat fountain, Savan Bhodo fountain, Kamal Talai fountain, Rasaleela fountain and Bin-Badal barasat fountain
3. Sahelion ki Bari got damaged due to the floods at Fateh Sagar Lake, and the garden was reconstructed by Maharana Sangram Singh II in 18th century
4. Sahelion ki Bari is situated on the banks of Fateh Sagar Lake. Fountains are fed by the water of the Fateh Sagar lake.
5. Each fountain has a different sound which gives a smooth effect and creates a peaceful atmostphere all around the garden.
6. Maharana Bhopal Singh bought some fountains from England and built a whole area of rain fountains. He wanted to create an impression that the maids are dancing in the rain.
7. The center of the garden has a white marble 'chattri' fountain with corners designed with black marble.
8. Princess and their maids away from the political intrigues of the court.
9. Near to saheliyon-ki-bari is burhani nagar and burhani masjid, vidhiya bhawan school and seva mandir marg.
10. There is also a small museum here.

How to reach - By local buses, caps, auto rickshaws and taxis.
Best time to visit - September to March.
